Lola's Story
Lola came to us after her elderly owners health made it too hard for them to care for her any more. She is an 8 year old, spayed female, Border Collie mix though she has no herding instinct at all. She gets along with dogs (big and small), cats, well behaved/older kids, and any livestock you may have. She is house trained, crate trained, and walks on a leash though she loves her fenced yard. She is nearly the perfect dog. Her only negative qualities are she gets car sick so she would not be an ideal travel companion, and she is afraid of storms. She prefers to hide in a closet or other dark spot during thunderstorms. Her ideal home would be quiet and laid back, have a fenced yard, and someone that is home a lot.
