Lola's Story
Where is my castle?

This beautiful princess is Lola! She's been with us since January 2024. No, that isn't a typo, 2024

Lola was rescued from the shelter. Advocates in her corner worked down to the last minutes to save her from euthanasia. They knew she just needed a chance. We were able help becasue someone said YES to fostering!

Some dogs just take their sweet time showing us their heart. Lola is one of those girls. She's very independent. She protected the pieces of her broken heart, fearful that it would happen again. It took time for her to trust, but once she let us in, we got to work unraveling her emotions, working on her fears, and building this beautiful girl back up.

We enlisted the help of Positive Only Pups when we needed to transition Lola from her foster home to the ranch barn. Cory made sure the team knew exactly what this girl needed to keep thriving. Over time Lola became so confident, we were able to dive into even more training at The School 4 Dogs where she graduated the group class with flying colors!

Lola loves her breakfast and dinner in bed, hence the nickname Princess . She loves her toys and shares them and her blankets with her kennel neighbor Yogi all the time. She's dog and cat friendly. She loves to play with Thomas. She doesn't make a mess. She's independent. She loves to go on walks. She loves to ride in the car. She loves to roll in the grass while sunbathing. She loves her snacky snacks and her puzzles. Lola loves....and man does she love big!

Lola is ready for the next chapter in her rescue story. She's got the skills. She's got the smarts. She's got the heart. She's got everything going for her now. But she's just missing that one thing......a family of her own.

Interested in meeting Lola
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FLR/dog

Lola would also love time with a foster home too!
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/FLR/dog
