Lola's Story

Located in Orange County, CA. *Transport will be available. Lola is a 4 year old, 40 pound pittie mix who is already spayed, vetted and finishing her board and train program in Brentwood! She was rescued from the Orange County shelter 20 minutes before her deadline after her family was evicted. She is dog tolerant and has been around children. Lola will be fully trained and is looking for someone who will work with her to keep up her training! Her current trainer is willing to work with a long term foster or adopter to make sure she is getting the support she needs.

Grandma's Barn Rescue and Sanctuary's Adoption Policy

For our adult dogs, we like to start with a "dating" period. After a couple of dates or more, we move to a sleepover and then gradually transition to a full-time relationship. We require a home check, references, ID, application, and contract for adoption. Our fees are different for current fosters who want to adopt versus outside adopters. They have already invested so much.
