You’ll often find her retreating to her soft bed or hopping up to join you on the sofa. Lola is healthy, wakes up happy, and brings a peaceful, comforting presence to the home.<br/>The shelter listed Lola as 10 years old, but after a vet exam and some much-needed TLC, she may be younger — maybe 5, maybe 8… or maybe she really is 10. We’ll never know, and that little mystery is part of the magic (and thrill) of rescuing.<br/>Lola is comfortable riding in a crate during car trips and, while she’s a bit timid at bath time, she quickly relaxes and goes with the flow. One of her favorite things? Belly rubs — she’ll stare lovingly into your eyes while you give them.<br/>She’s about 85% potty trained and improving every day and is currently learning how to use a doggy door.
