Lola's Story

ola is simply irresistible. She’s playful, charming, and eager to please, with a gentle soul that shines through in everything she does. She’s wonderful with people, and respectful of other dogs.
She’s a curious little lady with bursts of joyful energy followed by calm, cozy moments. You’ll often find her retreating to her soft bed or hopping up to join you on the sofa. Lola is healthy, wakes up happy, and brings a peaceful, comforting presence to the home.
The shelter listed Lola as 10 years old, but after a vet exam and some much-needed TLC, she may be younger — maybe 5, maybe 8… or maybe she really is 10. We’ll never know, and that little mystery is part of the magic (and thrill) of rescuing.
Lola is comfortable riding in a crate during car trips and, while she’s a bit timid at bath time, she quickly relaxes and goes with the flow. One of her favorite things? Belly rubs — she’ll stare lovingly into your eyes while you give them.
She’s about 85% potty trained and improving every day and is currently learning how to use a doggy door. Intelligent with a touch of mischief, Lola keeps life interesting — but she’s also wonderfully quiet and does not bark.
Most of all, Lola is respectful, gentle, and deeply loving. She won’t just live in your home… she’ll inhabit your heart.
