Lola's Story

Lola is a stunning pitbull girlie with sparkling eyes and perky ears that HOLLER "Come play with me!" She is bright, athletic, and full of joyful confidence, moving through the world with ease and curiosity. Lola loves people, thrives on attention, and has a natural charm that makes friends wherever she goes. Playful yet balanced, she enjoys games like fetch, long walks, and time spent alongside other dogs, making her a wonderfully social and engaging companion.

HISTORY
Lola's DOB is July 4, 2025. She has been raised alongside her male littermate in a home that made a conscious effort to treat them as individuals. They were crated, trained, walked, and fed separately to ensure healthy development and independence.

Lola is located in Kennewick, in Eastern Washington. We share information about our dogs in postings based in other cities to improve their chances of finding a great forever home. She is well worth a road trip, and we encourage you to come and meet her before you decide she should join your family!

SOCIALIZATION, TEMPERAMENT AND TRAINING

Lola is a social butterfly in the best sense of the phrase. She genuinely enjoys meeting new people and has done excellent with other dogs. She plays appropriately, reads social cues well, and seems to find joy in shared activity rather than conflict. Her easygoing social nature makes her a wonderful candidate for a multi-dog home, provided introductions are thoughtful and structured.

She loves walks and carries herself with an athletic, balanced energy. She is not frantic or chaotic, but she does enjoy having an outlet for her physical drive. A daily walk, a game of fetch in the yard, or structured playtime will go a long way in keeping her happy and fulfilled.

Lola absolutely blossoms with attention and praise. She wants to engage, to participate, and to be included in whatever her family is doing.

Like any older puppy entering adolescence, Lola may test boundaries or get distracted by the world around her. She is still growing and learning. With consistency, continued positive training, and an active lifestyle, she has all the makings of a confident, well-rounded adult companion.

HEALTH STATUS
General info
Lola is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, sterilized, and dewormed. She appears to be in good health. Once full grown, she will likely be somewhere in the 50-70 lbs range, maintaining her trim and athletic build.

ADOPTION
The adoption fee for Lola is $425.
Our process starts with an online application and may take a few days to a week to complete. HART (Hearthfire Animal Rescue Team)'s Adoption Policy
All our pets are in private foster homes. HART does not have a facility. For this reason, we introduce pets to potential adopters only after the adoption application has been approved. Our process involves: # A detailed application form, which must be submitted electronically # An online background check # Reference checks (calls to your vet, landlord, and at least two personal references) # Interviews with all the adults in the home (and, if the pet is intended primarily as a child's companion, we talk with the child) # A home visit, conducted at our discretion by a member of HART or a trusted rescue colleague Most of our pets are located in the Tri-Cities (Kennewick/Richland/Pasco) in Eastern Washington, and we place pets only in homes within the Pacific Northwest. As needed we may arrange for a trusted member of our team to transport a pet to an adopter, at the adopter's expense. We do not ever release pets to a third party for transportation; we personally introduce every pet to their adopter. HART is a registered 501(c)3 charity. We depend on adoption fees and donations to continue serving our community. We do not have an office or facility, and our team is made up only of volunteers. Our entire income goes to helping animals.
