4 year old Lola is a survivor. She was pregnant and living on the side of a river, and surviving from scraps from a stranger. Eventually a kind stranger managed to get her and her puppies into shelter. Lola is a beautiful Mexican special mix – her pups look like small black labs – she may be a shepherd x terrier x lab mix weighing 45 lbs. She’s her own mix of very special girl. Lola is lower energy, but spins in excitement if you might be so kind to toss her a ball, or when her dinner is ready. Lola is careful with strangers at first but also VERY affectionate. Lola isn’t keen to go far – she prefers the safety of her yard space. Who can blame her for worrying that she could be on the street again. She is looking for a quiet loving home where she will be the centre of the universe.
