Lola's Story

Meet Lola! This sweet pup was surrendered in La Paz, Mexico in 2024 and has been hanging out at the shelter waiting for her perfect family to find her ever since. Lola was born in 2022 we estimate and is currently around 45 pounds of love and cuddles. This husky mix gal cannot wait to find a foster family, or even better her forever family!

Lola loves hanging out all day with dogs of all sizes and playing in the sun or in the pool at our shelter. She loves when our volunteers take her for weekly walks, and is amazing with our kid volunteers as well when they go to give her love and affection. Lola is a sweet pup who is has a good playful energy level. We think she would love to play in the lakes and streams in the PNW, as well as be a couch potato watching netflix with her hoomans. Lola would prefer a home without cats, but would love a home with other kids or pups to play with. She is crate and house trained, though as with any new pup do expect some accidents during their transition into a new home! Lola would make the perfect companion for almost any home, and cannot wait until her people find her.

All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic foster-to-adopt option. This unique opportunity allows you to ensure that the match between you and the dog is perfect. Whether you're considering fostering or adopting, we'd love to hear from you.

Lola is currently located in La Paz, Mexico at our shelter and is hanging out in the sun and with their doggie friends all day long. Lola is ready to venture to the PNW if he had a dedicated foster or an adopter, once a family is approved we can have our pups to the PNW within 15 days.

Lola's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $375USD.This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.

All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.

Please Apply >> savingbajapaws.org/application
