Lola $450's Story
Lola is a 7-month-old, 25 lb mixed breed who packs big dog energy into a perfectly portable size-and the best part? She'll always have that adorable puppy look.
This girl is pure fun. Lola loves playing with other dogs, would thrive with a young playful canine sibling. She walks nicely on leash, coexists peacefully with cats, and would absolutely shine in activities like agility.
She's attentive, curious, and very food motivated-making her a great candidate for continued training. Lola is also your classic "shadow dog," happiest when she's close to her people and part of whatever you're doing.
Lola is working on her house and crate training and making great progress. She does best with routine, patience, and a family committed to helping her continue to learn and grow. Lola requires a standalone house.

Lola does have a unique need. She experiences some urinary issues and may have a little "oops" moment when she gets stressed or really excited to see you (which, to be fair, is because she just loves people that much!). With a consistent routine, management tools like doggie PJs or frequent potty breaks, and a patient, understanding home, she does wonderfully.
What Lola really needs is a home that will embrace her joyful spirit, support her as she continues to learn, and appreciate that her little quirks come from a place of loving life so much.

If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, goofy best friend to grow with your family, Lola is ready to meet you.
Apply for an opportunity to speak with Lola's foster family and learn more about this special girl!

Apply here: www.reyofhoperescue.org/adopt

Rey of Hope Rescue is a locally based dog & cat rescue in Milwaukee serving all of SE Wisconsin.
