Meet Lola

Lola is a shy, sweet, loving senior girl who is simply looking for a quiet forever home to spend her golden years.

She came to us as an owner surrender with her friend Gizmo. Gizmo was adopted months ago... and Lola is still waiting.

At 9 years old, Lola still has so much love left to give.

When she first arrived at the shelter, it was clear she wasn't settling in like many of the other dogs. The noise, the chaos - it was all a bit too much for a gentle senior soul. While shelter staff care deeply for every dog, we all know it's not the ideal place for an older girl who just wants peace and comfort.

So we moved her to foster - and that's where she truly began to shine.

In foster, we learned that Lola is:

House trained

Crate trained

Gentle and funny

A world-class cuddler

When that foster had a change in their living situation, Lola moved to another foster home - and we learned even more wonderful things about her.
