Lola 's Story

Meet Lola!

Lola is a tiny, 8-pound Chihuahua mix, approximately 2–3 years old and fully grown. This petite little girl has the sweetest heart — she just needs the right person to help her feel safe enough to show it.

Lola is the more fearful of the two and will need a calm, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She’s not the type to rush into new situations, but with a slow, steady approach and a gentle home environment, she truly blossoms. Once she feels secure, her loving personality starts to shine.

She would do best in a quiet, easygoing home with no young children. Lola does wonderfully with other dogs and is perfectly fine with cats. Having a calm canine companion could even help her feel more confident.

Lola is house trained and will go outside or use pee pads. She sleeps nicely in her crate at night and settles in well once she knows the routine.

Sadly, Lola came from a home where drugs were involved and her basic care wasn’t being met. Despite that rough start, she remains a very sweet girl who just wants safety, stability, and someone who will move at her pace.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and will have a health certificate prior to adoption. With patience and love, Lola will become a deeply devoted little companion. She can be adopted with Darla or separate.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application

**We can’t adopt to MA residents**
