Loki's Story

Meet Loki, a dashing 1-year-old neutered male Shepherd mix who’s paws-itively larger than life! Weighing in at 80 lbs, this big guy is full of energy, spirit, and tail-wagging enthusiasm. With his good looks and goofy charm, Loki is sure to leave paw prints all over your heart.

Loki is strong, athletic, and eager to learn! He’ll do best with an experienced dog owner who can provide the structure and guidance he needs to become his very best self. Like any young shepherd mix, he’ll need consistency and direction. Because of his size and enthusiasm, Loki might accidentally bowl over little ones, so he’ll do best in a home with older kids or adults. He has also met and played well with other dogs!

One thing to note: Loki has some serious hops and can leap over a 6-foot fence like it’s no big deal! That means he’ll need supervision when outside, plus plenty of fun activities to keep his mind and body busy. Fetch, agility, long walks—you name it, Loki’s game.

Loki is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative—ready to unleash his love on a forever family. He’ll thrive in an active home that can keep up with his zest for life and give him both structure and adventure.

If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who’s playful, affectionate, and always up for a good time, Loki is paws-itively the one for you!

His adoption fee of $300 includes 2 private sessions with one of our trainers to help him start off on the right paw.

For more information, to set up a meet and greet, or to submit an adoption application, go to https://www.medicalmutts.org/adopt-a-pet-dog.

We also have an adoption event at our facility from 10am–12pm on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. Please stop by to meet our adoptable dogs. The address is 6120 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
