He can be territorial at times and may defend food, and his play style can be a bit intense.<br/>– Loki is not cat-friendly.<br/>– Loki likes children, but because he’s strong and energetic, a home with older, stable kids is preferred. He may accidentally knock down smaller children.<br/><br/>🍽️ Food & Toys:<br/>– Loki can be defensive around food at times, though not always aggressive. He shares and plays with toys well.<br/><br/>🧠 Personality & Quirks:<br/>– Loki is intelligent, affectionate, and playful. He does show some anxiety behaviors -especially seeking out plastic items, likely due to food curiosity -but he settles well in a structured environment.<br/><br/>Vetting and Medical<br/>In our care, Loki has received a vet check, vaccines, a dental exam and flea treatments. Loki is on monthly heartworm preventatives and has been neutered. <br/><br/>Medical Donations<br/>We depend on donations from caring people, like you, to make a difference in the lives of dogs. As an all volunteer organization, you can rest assured that the donations go directly to help the dogs. We are unable to call everyone back as we do not have ANY employees. Our dedicated volunteers and foster parents will check references of the applications that appear to be a good match. At that time, if you are chosen, we will contact you to arrange a home visit.<br/><br/>The adoption fee helps to cover costs, as each dog is fully vetted, and treated, as needed to prepare them to move forward in their new life.
