Lois's Story

Hi, I'm Lois. I spent a few months last summer living in my old backyard after my human mom passed away and my human dad went into assisted living. It was heartbreaking, but then my foster mom took me to her house and now I feel loved and safe again. Don't let my age fool you, I'm still very goofy and playful. I love to sun in the backyard, roll in the cool grass, and go on short walks through the neighborhood. Don't have a yard? That's okay. The apartment life would be perfectly fine with me, as I don't need much exercise. However, my most favorite thing to do in the world is to spend time with you! I'm happy to keep myself busy with a kong or antler chew when you go to work and then we can snuggle on the couch when you get home. Still working from home? I'd make an excellent work from home buddy, as I spend most of the day napping on my plush bed.

I'm pretty easygoing, as a matter of fact. No need for lots of exercise, as I much prefer working on my couch potato skills while watching TV and eating lots of snacks! I also love to play with anything that squeaks and am really good at keeping myself entertained when you are busy. Sometimes I even toss the toys and chase them myself (but it's always more fun to play with you). One thing though, I love my toys so much that I'd prefer to not have to share them with another dog and would like to live as an only fur child. I've also already attended a group manners class and know sit, down, wait, and some other key skills that will help me be the most polite girl in my forever home. Oh, and I walk nicely on the leash too! If I sound perfect, it's because I'm pretty close, apply to meet me today.
