Logan's Story

Although Logan has a little bit of a long story that is not unlike many young dogs who can’t catch a break, he's an amazing dog.

Logan and his littermates were originally given to a man who amputated all the puppies' ears and shortly after was sent to prison. At that time, the pups were sent back to the backyard breeder and were living in terrible conditions. Angie was able to get them out of the awful conditions back in the fall of 2021, and the puppies bounced around from a few boarding situations for months until they were able to get adopted.

Logan found a foster and had training donated by a local trainer, where he excelled in all his puppy skills. He was adopted in January of 2022 and was very much loved. He lived with another large female doodle. That owner had some family issues come up and returned him to Angie's Friends about a year ago.

In a major stroke of luck, Logan found an amazing family, but then this unfortunate incident with the nip happened.

We haven't seen any of that behavior, but we want to be protective of Logan and potential adopters, so we originally thought Logan would stay with us. However, he consistently shows his super sweet laid-back personality. He rides in the car very well. He gets along with everyone he meets, including cats. He's uber affectionate.

So, we think maybe Logan deserves a third chance, if the right situation can be found. He messed up, we know. But he's only 5 years old and SO affectionate. He just needs the right home where he will not interact with visitors.

Piqued your interest? Get in touch!

3/25/26 9:38 PM
