Hi. I'm Locust.<br/>I'm a 6-year-old, 63-pound terrier mix, and I've been told I have a very kind face-and an even kinder heart.<br/><br/>I really love people. Like... a lot. Being near you is my favorite thing. Sitting with you, walking beside you, quietly keeping you company-I'm very good at all of that. I don't need to be the center of attention; I just want to be part of your world.<br/><br/>I'm a gentle soul. I greet new friends with a wagging tail and soft eyes, and I try my best to be polite and patient. I get along well with other dogs, too-I'm more of a "let's be buddies" kind of guy than a troublemaker.<br/><br/>Walks are one of my great joys. I like taking my time, sniffing the air, noticing the world, and sharing that calm happiness with whoever's holding my leash. I'm eager to learn and happy to listen-especially if it means spending more time with you.<br/><br/>My life changed when I was rescued along with many other dogs after our owner became ill. When help arrived, I was the first to step forward and say hello.
