Lobo's Story

Say hello to Lobo,

Lobo, which means 'wolf' in Spanish, came into our care due to his families' living circumstances. We are just getting to know him, but he seems to be true to his breed and is wary of new people at first. However, he seems to especially like women and quickly warms up to people with a nice slow intro and some tasty treats, Lobo says "cheese please!"

Once he knows he can trust you, Lobo wants nothing more than to play, be cuddly and get some good ol' belly rubs! One of his favorite pastimes are pool parties with his friends on staff, he has a blast and could easily entertain himself!

Lobo walks nicely on leash but can pull when excited and is looking for someone to continue to practice loose leash walking with him, it will be fun, like a game! He knows a few manners but would thrive in a home that would keep his active mind stimulated! He absolutely looooves nose work and would be great for a person with a passion for scent work! An ideal home would be a physically active one, with someone who likes to hike and will let Lobo take his time to sniff, explore, and take in the world!

If an adventure buddy like Lobo sounds like a good companion for you; please fill out and submit our Canine Adoption Application from our website here:

https://www.apsfh.com/adoption-program/canine-application/

An Adoption Team Member will be in touch with you soon.
