Lobo's Story

Lobo is a big guy that is looking for a new home that has experience with German Shepherds. Lobo is 5 years old, neutered, and vaccinated. Lobo was surrendered with other dogs but meet and greets are required. Lobo would love to find an active home that will meet all of his demands and mental stimulation. Rock Springs Animal Control's Adoption Policy

Our adoption fees are as follows: $80.00 for dogs/puppies of any age $20.00 for any cat over 1 yr of age $40.00 for any cat under 1 yr of age All animals will be spayed or neutered and be up to date on vaccinations before they go to their new homes. We perform all of our adoptions by an application process. This process is to ensure a pet ends up in a forever home as well as ensuring all laws and regulations are being obeyed and that the animal will not be returned to Animal Control due to lack of foresight. You are more than welcome to come down to the shelter during business hours and take a look at the animals we do have. They deserve the chance to have a loving home! We are open from 10 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday (Closed weekends and holidays)

Our Mission

We are the Animal Control facility for the city of Rock Springs and Sweetwater County. The animals displayed may not all be adoptable, some may be on a 5 day stray hold. If you are missing a pet, be sure to give us a call or visit the shelter during business hours.
