Meet Lobo
Say hello to the coolest, biggest boi, Lobo! Lobo became a staff favorite in about five minutes. Hes about 110 pounds of pure love, silliness, and kisses.
Lobo is likely 4 years old and in perfect health. Hes fine around other dogs, but only plays with a few favorites. The only dogs he doesnt care for are the annoying ones who follow him around trying to play constantly. He knows sit and is so smart we think he can learn more tricks very quickly.
Lobo accepts treats so gently, it is as cute, as it is heartwarming. He is a gentle giant.
Lobo is very loyal and is a natural born working dog and has the potential to be a real guard dog. We are training him daily to curb that behavior, and show him that the people around him dont need him to protect us. But rest assured, hes one of the most loyal dogs you will ever meet.
He was rescued off of the euthanasia list at the Downey shelter through no fault of his own. Theyre so full, theyre euthanizing very adoptable dogs.
We are so happy to have saved him, and cant wait for him to find the perfect furever home.
