He greets people with a wagging tail and plenty of enthusiasm (sometimes in the form of a full-on “hug”!), and he loves spending time with dogs his size. He’s playful, social, and always ready to engage, but he also has a gentle, intuitive side that really sets him apart. He’s wonderfully in tune with people’s emotions and has a calm, comforting presence when it matters most. At home, his goofy personality shines—whether he’s dropping toys into your lap to start a game or proudly carrying sticks on walks. He’s grown more independent over time but will always be happiest close to his people.<br/><br/><br/>Ideal Home:<br/><br/>Lobi is looking for a home where he can be part of everyday life. He’d do best with someone who is around often, as he truly loves companionship. He’s adaptable enough for apartment or house living as long as he gets enough exercise, though a fenced yard would be a bonus for playtime. Because he’s still a big, enthusiastic puppy, he’d be best in a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids (12+). He isn’t suited for homes with cats or small animals, and while he enjoys other dogs, he may thrive best as the only pet or with a well-matched dog his size.<br/><br/><br/>Training & Activity:<br/><br/>Lobi is a smart, eager learner who already knows a wide range of commands and has great manners for his age—he’ll even wait patiently for his food until released. He’s fully house-trained and sleeps soundly in his crate at night (sometimes putting himself to bed!), while daytime crating is still improving but going well. He loves staying active and would make an amazing walking, hiking, or even running partner. While he can still get a little excited at the start of walks or around squirrels, he’s made great progress and continues to improve. With daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation, he settles into a calm, cuddly companion by evening—ready to relax right by your side.<br/><br/>Summary:<br/><br/>Lobi is the total package: fun, loving, and full of potential.
