Lizzie 's Story

Hi there! I’m Lizzie, a 5-month-old pup with the perfect mix of sass and sweetness.

My story started a little rough. I spent my early weeks living outside with my mama and littermates, but now that I’m in foster care I’m discovering just how wonderful life with people can be. Soft beds, toys, snacks, and cuddles? Yes please!

I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I feel safe my personality really starts to shine. I’m affectionate, curious, and love being close to my humans. I also have a bit of a sassy streak that keeps life entertaining.

I do enjoy having my people’s attention and can get a little jealous about sharing them with other dogs, but I currently live in a foster home with multiple pups and do just fine.

With continued guidance and structure, I’m learning all about how to be a great canine companion.

My mama is believed to be a heeler mix around 35 lbs, and dad is unknown, so my breed is our best guess based on features and size.

Lizzie will thrive

I do enjoy having my people’s attention and can get a little jealous about sharing them with other dogs, but I currently live in a foster home with multiple pups and do just fine. With continued guidance and structure, I’m learning all about how to be a great canine companion.

My mama is believed to be a heeler mix around 35 lbs, and dad is unknown, so my breed is our best guess based on features and size.

Lizzie will thrive in a patient, loving home that continues to build her confidence and helps her grow into the wonderful dog she’s meant to be.

If you’re looking for a pup who is equal parts sweet, spunky, and loyal, Lizzie might be your girl.

Lizzie will do best in a home without kids under the age of 8 years old.

This is to ensure that the information provided in the placement application aligns with the actual home setting. Depending on the animal and their needs multiple meet and greets may be required.
