Lizzie's Story

Meet Lizzie: Lizzie is a 3 year old (as of October 2025) pit mix that weighs around 70 pounds. Lizzie was found wandering around a northern Mississippi apartment complex after her owner was evicted and left her. Lizzie is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Lizzie is very friendly with people and with other dogs. Lizzie is currently using a doggie door and may need some patience when learning a more traditional house training technique. Lizzie is up to date on her shots and spayed. When Lizzie was rescued she tested heart worm positive. She has received treatments and she is good to go now!
