Lizzie's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Meet Lizzie! This beautiful and spunky girl found herself on the euthanasia list in Texas, before making her way to Buffalo to find her forever family. She is a super happy, playful, outgoing doggo. She loves to play with (but never destroy) her toys and do zoomies around the house throughout the day. She also loves to be with (and on top of) her humans and snuggle, which is a definite plus since winter is here! She is crate trained and sleeps through the night in her crate quietly. She is working on potty training and doing well. She would love an active family to have adventures with. If you think Lizzie is the girl for you, apply today!

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at www.sadiesrescue.org Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a dog, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a 'first come first served' basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog.
As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
