Meet Lizzy

Hi! I’m Lizzy!

My foster mom says I’m a sweet little girl who has come SO far since I first arrived scared and unsure. Now I’m learning that the world can be a pretty wonderful place!

Loud barking can still make me nervous, so when the dogs next door or my foster siblings start doing their big “ALERT!” barks, I run straight to my foster mom for reassurance.

I don’t bark much myself—unless I’m having a really good time playing!

And OH BOY do I LOVE to play! Especially with the big dogs!

We run, wrestle, and have the best time. They’re very nice and always let me win, because obviously I’m the champion.

I’m also doing SO much better with potty training! I’ve learned to walk to the back door and wait when I need to go. Sometimes my foster mom doesn’t notice me in time and I have a little accident, but I’m trying my very best and getting better every day!

I LOVE toys, food, and treats... basically, if it involves fun or snacks, count me in!

I’m great on a leash and LOVE going for walks!

Car rides still make me
