I'm a happy-go-lucky kind of gal who just wants to be where the people (and the snacks!) are.<br/><br/>I absolutely love other dogs and do my best when I've got a furry friend to hang out with or a human who's home more often than not. I get a little anxious when left alone, and I've been known to dig when I'm feeling lonely--but when I'm with my doggie buddies in playgroups, that digging habit disappears! So, a home with another friendly pup or someone who can spend lots of time with me would be a dream come true.<br/><br/>I've got a calm demeanor and a heart of gold. I'm very food motivated, which makes me easy to train, and I'm already great on a leash. I load up into a car without a fuss and ride like a pro. I also know how to use a doggie door, and while I haven't officially been labeled as housetrained, I always do my business outside my kennel space--which is a pretty good sign that I've got the right idea!<br/><br/>Cuddling is one of my favorite things, and I'll happily curl up next to you for a cozy nap or keep you company while you relax. I'm just an easygoing girl looking for love and a place to belong.<br/><br/>❤️ A quick note: I am heartworm positive. Don't let that scare you--it's a treatable condition, and the shelter will be happy to discuss the care I need.
