LITTLE RICKY's Story
Little Ricky is spry for a senior...And can be a bit, um, discerning when meeting new people. It is no wonder...He has had bit of a rough go in life- His owner was unhoused and we aren't too sure what happened to her but her Little Ricky and his brother found themselves at the shelter. Despite many attempts to reach her, they remained unclaimed. Ricky is now our longest stay pet, while his brother has long since been adopted. When meeting people, Little Ricky is 15 pounds of fury and will lunge and try to bite. He does, however, tend to calm down when ha realizes there is no threat and is successfully walked and handled by many of our staff and doting small dog volunteers. He LOVES toys. At his ahe, you can expect that he had some teeth in need of TLC- Not to worry, we cleaned up his teeth so to get him in better shape for adoption. Interested in giving Little Ricky a chance? Please visit our adoption center located at 12425 Monterey Rd in San Martin anytime during open hours (12-6pm weekdays, 12-5 pm weekends). No appointment is necessary and there is no pre-application process.
