Little Joe's Story

Little Joe (Joe), joined us from the South back in April 26' @ just 7 weeks old.

Joe was euthanasia listed due to color, socialability, and capacity.

Joe has been with his foster since early April with virtually no interest!!! We aren't sure why!

Little Joe is on the reserved side even for a puppy IT'S PART OF HIS MAGIC! Joe is happy to hang back in the crowd, isn't reactive on walks, and is overall a follower - not a leader.

Joe is raised with toddlers, dogs of all sizes, cats & kittens, and even a Chinchilla he doesn't pay attention to. Joe loves walks, being with his people, cuddling on the couch, playing in the yard, taking naps, and even working on basic obedience because sit = treat!

Joe is used to a working family schedule so being crated for a standard workday is no problem at all! Joe is crate and potty trained. He can be a mild chewer being 7 months old so he is also crated at bedtime.

Recently Joe went on a home trial and was returned 9 days later. Joe has amazing skills and loves his family but he needs a family ready to put in some effort to help him settle and show off how many wonderful qualities he has. He has only ever known his foster family.

Some great qualities Joe brings to his new family!
- No resource guarding
- No food begging or stealing
- Non-reactive on walks
- Doesn't bombard company when people come over

Apply to adopt Little Joe!

Copy/Paste the link below to apply:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSernUPbuwTFo7xHQ7Q-kUvlXKf0-MX3bBnFEdfO81K2SGZT-g/viewform
