Little Foot's Story

Little Foot is an approximately 1.5 year old shepherd / cattle dog / who-knows-what-else mix with an estimated DOB of February 24, 2024. He is about 70 lbs and is currently in a foster home with two other dogs. He loves to play with his foster siblings and is learning so much with his foster parents. After zoomies in the yard, he is happy to lounge around while his parents work from home and will offer big sloppy kisses from time to time. He is also potty trained and crate trained.

Little Foot is reactive to dogs and (sometimes) people on leash, so we are hoping to find him an adopter who can continue working with him on the amazing training he has been doing with his fosters and trainer. For this reason, we think he would do best with a gentle and patient person who can continue to build his confidence in this big, wide, wonderful world and are not recommending him to homes with young children or cats at this time.

Once Little Foot gets to know you, just know that he will become your best friend for life--this "Little" Foot has a BIG heart! If you are willing to put the time and energy into training, and if you want a dog who will work his hardest to please, you may be a great fit for this beautiful, sweet dog.

Fill out an adoption application at https://forms.gle/ZvvQobuhgmkU5AJEA if you'd like to meet Little Foot!

=================================================

***WE DO NOT RESPOND TO PETFINDER INQUIRIES OR PHONE CALLS, ONLY EMAILS.***

If you have any additional questions, or would like to adopt a pup, send us an email at adoptions@rhas.love and we will send you an adopter survey. Please note that we are a foster to adopt only rescue. As a foster, you get to "test drive" your chosen dog to make sure it's a good fit prior to adoption. We want you and the dog to have the best fit possible!

Resilient Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue in Seattle, WA. 100% of adoption fees go towards helping us save more high-risk animals, and unite them with their forever families in the PNW!
