Little Bella's Story
Meet Little Bella – World class snuggler looking for her forever home!

Little Bella is approximately 4 years old and is 30 pounds. She was spayed on Nov 13th, is up to date on vaccines, and is microchipped.

Little Bella is a velcro dog - she wants to be with her human. With her foster mom, she wants to be on the couch snuggled together. In the few days that her foster mom has had her, she has had some human visitors and has been happy to play and snuggle with all of them. When her foster mom is in kitchen, she hangs out on a dog bed under the table. Since her spay she has not had playtime with other dogs. She likes to play with dog toys. Cats, kids and livestock are unknown.

Little Bella is food and toy driven, making positive reinforcement very effective. She has the Border Collie focus. She has some basic commands such as sit and come and is working on stay. Check out her great recall in the video in the comments! She is making headway on “off" (of both people and counters). When heading outside, she is good at sitting before going out but wants to dash as soon as the door is opened. She is already doing well on leash walking, as seen in the video in the comments. When on leash she is regularly looking back or up to her foster mom to check in. She is house and crate trained. She sleeps in her crate at night and when her foster mom is out of the house for more than 10 minutes.

Little Bella’s history is limited. We know that she was surrendered to a small municipal shelter. No data regarding her breed or prior life are known. Most folks that have met her think she is a Border Collie/McNab mix. Little Bella is currently being fostered in Rhododendron, Oregon. Her adoption fee is $400.
