Little Bear's Story

Adopt Little Bear

Little Bear is a 3 year old mixed breed baby. Possibly some corgi in there, somewhere. He is a whopping 25 pounds of sweetness!

Little Bear is utd on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

He spent his previous life living outdoors dodging cars. It is a miracle he survived at all. His previous owner had no interest in properly caring for this sweet baby or was not even bothered enough to help catch him. A very kind lady went to Little Bear’s area twice a day, every day for weeks to gain his trust in order to catch him and bring him to safety.

We say time and time again, don’t get a dog if you’re not gonna take care of it properly and give it the life it deserves.

What we know about this precious darling is he is a grand escape artist so he will require supervision while outdoors even in a fenced yard. He will find a way out. Luckily, he doesn’t go very far, but we assume based on his living his entire life outside that that contributes to these behaviors, which are very easily managed with proper supervision.

Please read what his Foster mama has to say about this wonderful little boy:

Little Bear is the sweetest little boy you could ask for. He has the most gentle disposition with every person and dog he has met while he has been with me. He loves to play catch with his toys and also wants to be by your side or on your lap to snuggle. He is house trained and crate trained. Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
At NARPS, we try to make adopting your new family member as simple and painless as possible, while still doing a thorough job at ensuring it's the best home match for our pets and the adopting family. We have an application process which helps us better understand the type of home environment and family dynamics, as well as making sure all the resident pets are properly cared for and kept up to date on veterinary care. We do our very best to keep our adoption prices at a very fair price. Our adoption process is as follows: Interested adopter contacts us about a pet, we then send them our application. Upon receiving the completed application, we go over it and contact references, etc. We will chat with the potential adopter about their home and how our pet would fit in. If all looks good, we arrange a meet and greet with you and the adoptable pet. Your whole family and any resident dog(s) would meet our pet as well. Sometimes multiple meets are performed
