Meet Lisa Marie! This happy gal has come a long way in her short time with our rescue. She came to us very shy and nervous, but has quickly blossomed into a happy and playful girl who always has her tail wagging away!

Breed: Terrier mix
Estimated age: 3-4 years old
Weight: 35 pounds

Lisa Marie does have Addison's Disease, caused by decreased hormone production from the adrenal gland. Dogs can still live happy and healthy lives with Addison's Disease with appropriate treatment. Lisa Marie will need to be on medication for the rest of her life to regulate this hormone imbalance.

- Lisa Marie does well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them
- She is perfectly content just being around her humans, she just wants to know you're nearby!
- She loves her toys, especially her antler!
- Has met her kitty foster sibling and didn't mind them
- Her medication makes her urinate more frequently so she does need access to a pee pad when left home alone
- She does well with making her foster family aware when she needs to potty and will use pee pads when necessary
- Is shy at first but opens up typically after a few days
- Lisa Marie would make a wonderful addition to any family as she is a great companion who loves to be around people
