He weighed only 8 pounds, was severely emaciated, and was so weak that he couldn't even get up or walk.<br/><br/>But Linus is a fighter.<br/><br/>As he began receiving the care and nutrition his body desperately needed, Linus faced another challenge. His body had been through so much that as he started gaining weight and strength, the tendons in his wrists struggled to keep up. He was unable to properly extend his paws and walked on his wrists, requiring months of physical therapy and rehabilitation.<br/><br/>And look at him now.<br/><br/>Linus has overcome hurdle after hurdle and has officially graduated from physical therapy. Today, you might never know that this happy, playful, goofy boy had such a difficult beginning.<br/><br/>He is playful, curious, affectionate, and absolutely full of personality. Linus loves his toys and has become quite the little collector, happily gathering his favorites into his own special pile. He also has a soft side and enjoys soaking up attention, especially when he's ready to settle down and relax.<br/><br/>One of Linus's most endearing little quirks? His adorable snorts when he plays. He gets so excited that sometimes he just can't contain himself!<br/><br/>Linus is still working on some of his manners and will benefit from a family that is committed to continuing his training. He can be quite mouthy when he gets excited and is still learning more appropriate ways to communicate and interact with the people around him. Linus can also get a little carried away when playing with other dogs and tends to have a very rough play style.<br/><br/>Because of this, Linus would do best with a family that is ready to continue guiding him and helping him build the skills he needs to be his very best self.
