Line Butt's Story
Line Butt (Liney, as we like to call her) has been in our foster dog home since the weekend before Thanksgiving. She arrived from Texas with her 6 siblings - most of whom have already been adopted. Their Mama was a Boston Terrier, and their dad's breed is unknown. At 6 months old, she is about 29 pounds, and it's anticipated that she could reach about 35 pounds.

Liney sleeps all night in her crate like a champ and will sometimes even take a nap there. Mostly, she likes being with her people during the day, following us from room to room, but she will occasionally need a forced break in the crate if she's overtired or can't quite control her excitement. She doesn't usually put up much of a fuss with that.

She is fully potty trained (as long as we don't miss her cues), and knows basic commands like sit, shake, lie down, and wait. It helps that she is extremely food-motivated.

Being outside is one of her favorite things, and while she is still gaining experience on the leash, she is getting the hang of it.

She has been introduced to cats and doesn't seem to mind them. She's done pretty well around kids, too, but can feed off their energy and get puppy jumpy.

Liney has LOTS of energy and would be a loyal single dog, but would love having another doggy to play with and help her burn off some energy. A fenced-in yard would be even better!

Does Liney sound like she could be a good fit for you?
