Linden's Story
Age: 3 years
Weight: 8lbs

Introducing Linden (aka Lindy Puppins), a world-class snuggler, and your new best friend. Linden is a certified lap dog with an independent spirit. He has excellent leash manners and is gaining confidence as a newcomer to the noisy, crowded streets of NYC.

When Linden isn't napping in the warmest spot in reach, he loves to play with toys and has a frolicsome, silly side that's so fun to witness. He's also very comfortable in his crate - retreating to his safe space whenever he needs a break. He's very patient with bathtime and getting dressed for the cold weather.

We don't know a lot about Linden's past - just that his family in Texas was unable to keep him for some reason and he was surrendered. Although he can struggle with resource guarding, in his short time as a foster, he's been making steady gains on many fronts. His tolerance for sharing is growing daily. He seems to be mostly housebroken, but understandably occassionally prefers to use training pads on especially frigid days.

Linden is very intelligent. He's quick to learn routines like sitting to have his leash removed after a walk. He's also been working on his recall skills and sitting on command. Although he's a dog that knows his own mind, he also aims to please if he's given clear expectations.

Linden is a charming little sweetheart with Steve Buschemi eyes - just waiting for a warm and loving home where he can thrive and enjoy the good life he deserves.

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt Linden, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt.truenorthrescue@gmail.com to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue.
