Meet Lincoln, a sweet black Labrador Retriever mix puppy with gentle eyes and a tender heart. At just 3–4 months old, Lincoln is the kind of puppy who quietly watches, listens, and loves deeply.<br/><br/>Lincoln was rescued with his siblings after being abandoned in terrible condition, and thanks to our Lab Rescue Project, he was given the chance to heal and start fresh. He is currently in a loving foster home with his brother Harlan, growing up alongside small children, and Lincoln has shown just how special he truly is.<br/><br/>Lincoln loves children, especially in that soft, intuitive way that feels almost magical. When one of the foster children wasn’t feeling well, Lincoln gently laid beside her, offering comfort just by being there. He seems to instinctively know when someone needs extra love. He has a very sweet, affectionate personality, though he’s a bit on the shy side and will need a patient family to help him build confidence as he grows.<br/><br/>With reassurance, routine, and kindness, Lincoln will absolutely blossom. He is friendly, playful once he feels safe, and wonderfully gentle—an ideal match for a calm household or a family willing to guide him with love and encouragement. Everything Lincoln needs medically has already been fully covered, including his vaccinations, preventatives, microchip, and veterinary care. His neuter is already scheduled at the upcoming Dragonfly Mobile Vet Clinic at Canyon Lake Animal Shelter, where he’ll also receive his final first-year DAPP and another dose of Simparica Trio. There is no adoption fee. Our only goal is finding Lincoln a safe, committed, lifelong home.<br/><br/>Lincoln has already shown how deeply he can love.
