Lima Bean's Story

"*Woof* I'm in a foster home. Please reach out to sarahaas290@gmail.com if you'd like to meet me!

Lima Bean is a certified snuggle bug — he is a Velcro pup who will curl up next to you the second you sit down. He has never met a human he doesn’t like and is so affectionate. LB is also very adaptable — he comes along for game nights, hotel stays, froyo runs, and loves hosting friends! And don’t let his age fool you — he loves to go for daily walks or runs, or just frolic in the yard. . Lima Bean is potty trained and can stay at home alone uncrated for a few hours and entertain himself with toys, a nap, and maybe a bully stick He is a great TV buddy, WFH friend, hiking partner, and just an all around a great companion.

When he was introduced to dogs off leash at HRA, he did a good job, so he might may be fine to live with another dog after a slow introduction . We're continuing to practice our leash manners. He can be a little dog reactive on leash, but he has improved on a ton while I foster and he does not have a prey drive. He is SUPER food motivated and has never found a snack he doesn’t like which really helps with his training. He knows a few tricks and commands and is a super fast learner (he’s learned a few new ones over the past month!). The Bean is a real joy to have in our home – he already feels like family, We're so happy to be fostering him! Please don’t hesitate to contact his foster at sarahaas290@gmail.com to learn more about him!
