Lily's Story

Lily is a 3-year-old pit bull mix with a heart as big as her personality. She may have had a tough start in life, but she’s ready to put that behind her and start fresh with a loving family. Found in West Fresno, Lillie was underweight, missing fur, and clearly overbred. Despite all of that, she’s a happy, affectionate girl who’s eager to shower her new family with love and joy.

Lillie is all about the simple things in life: lounging at your feet, joining you for dinner dates, and being your ultimate cuddle buddy. She’s a true “House Hippo Pitty”... relaxed, calm, and happiest when she's right by your side.

Lillie does wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, making her an ideal family companion. She’s a very laid-back girl, and while she enjoys playing with her toys, she can be a bit possessive of them when around other dogs. But don’t worry, she's a quick learner and is already getting the hang of simple obedience and corrections.

We are currently working on crate training, and while she has some anxiety about it, she’s making great strides. With patience and consistency, she’s sure to adjust in no time.

She is potty trained, house trained, fully vaccinated, flea/tick treated, and spayed.

If you are interested, please apply at tippytapsrescue.com. Please note an application is required before meeting Lily.
