Lily's Story

Lily

It is amazing to me that this sweet girl is still waiting for a forever family. At 3 months old, all of her siblings and even her momma have been adopted! But here she waits.

Lily’s momma is a 60lb Pittie, and DNA on her sister shows there’s quite a bit of shepherded in this group, suggesting that’s what daddy was. We suspect she will be the 60-70 pounds of pure love when full grown.

Lily with her siblings was quite rambunctious, however with them all gone, she is incredibly mellow. She is brave, confident, curious, and really just rolls with the punches. She was at our latest event and with all the chaos, was walking around schmoozing people and enjoying her day.

She has proven great with dogs and cats, and is so incredibly gentle with the toddler in her foster home.

Lily is a well rounded girl! She knows sit, does fantastic on leash, and is diligently working on her kennel/house training.

She is equal parts independent, and loving. She will greet you all tail wags, but sit next to you rather than on top of you. She will cuddle next to you on the couch, although may hop down for some independent play or a solo nap. She’s not an in your face kind of gal and have a personality that some say is meant for therapy. She was never the one to run up to people and climb in their laps to say “PICK ME!” But quietly waited on the sidelines, and continues to patiently wait, for someone to come along and see her

Interested in meeting this girl? Bruno's Foundation's Adoption Policy
We are a foster based facility, meaning all of our animals are in homes, not a shelter environment. This allows us to get to know them better, and provide on one training for each animal. In order to limit the amount of people going in and out of our foster homes, we do require a filled out application prior to a meet and greet. We are a 501c3 non profit. All adoption donations are tax deductible! Please click the link on this page to fill out an application for adoption. Allow 48 hours for a reply, we only have one person who reviews applications so please be patient. A phone call will be scheduled should your application fit the needs of the pet you’re applying for. During this time, we will set up a meet and greet, then a home check (virtual or in person). We DO allow out of state adoptions however you will be required to travel to pick up, and this will depend on how the pet you’re applying for does with travel. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed prior to adoption.
