Lilly's Story

Lilly is a Mountain Feist spayed female. She is slightly timid but warms up quickly when she realizes that you are a friend and won't hurt her. She and her 3 grown pups were living behind a mechanic's shop where they were being fed scraps by the workers. She has been in rescue for a couple of years and has come a long long way. She has learned how to trust people.

Lilly enjoys getting butt scratches. That's her favorite! If you want to be her friend, offer her a scratch across the top of her hip bones. She loves scratches. She will back her butt up to you and wiggle back and forth waiting for you to appease her. Lilly gets along with other dogs but because she is a mature dog, she prefers dogs that are medium to low energy.

Lilly would do well in a mid to low energy household. She would like to be a couch potato. She would probably do well in a home with senior owners. She's content to just hang out and sleep most of the day. If she had a senior or mature dog to hang out with, that would be ideal.

Lilly is very well potty trained. She is a great dog who deserves a loving family to enjoy her years with. Lilly is a rescue favorite. She's the nicest dog at the rescue and is easy for all new people to manage. She's gentle enough for visiting children to lead on leash to the play yards.

Lilly is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is on Simparica Trio heartworm/flea/tick preventative. She will have a vet exam, negative fecal test and health certificate for travel.

We transport our dogs to the New England area states. Interested in adopting but not sure how it all works if you're out of state? We will be happy to walk you through the process. We host video chat calls with our rescues and potential adopters so you can get an idea of the dog's personality and mannerisms. We have an in depth application that helps us make a good match between adopter and rescue. We can find the location nearest to you where our transport stops.

Adoption fee of $250 INCLUDES TRANSPORT to many New England cities.

You can find our Adoption Application form at: Https://form.jotform.com/232435478231051

Questions?
