Lilly #cuddly-lapdog's Story

ALL WARM WIGGLES AND WAGS

DOB 6/29/23, weight 10 lb.

Hey there, everyone! I’m Lilly, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate chestnut and black Chihuahua mix gal who became homeless when my owners were deported. My buddy Luis and I wandered for days before a Good Samaritan rescued us from the mean streets of Houston. When I first arrived in my foster home, I was a little shy because I’m fearful of new situations. However, once I started feeling comfy here, I became all warm wiggles and wags.

I do best with lots of close family contact. Wouldn’t you know that cuddling in Foster Mom’s lap is my favorite spot and where I require plenty of quality time? I adore playing with the small dogs in my foster home, and I get along great with the resident cats; however, the foster kittens annoy me, and the large dogs scare me.

My size makes me an ideal apartment dog, but I relish my daily exercise. Nothing makes me happier than for Foster Mom to invest her time and energy into treating me like a big dog. I make it easy for her because I already walk well on a leash. Plus I’m kennel-trained.

Now I’m ready to bring my happy and adoring self to bless my new forever family. Could that be with you? Then arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave itsy-bitsy paw prints all over your heart.

HOPE ID D25-0918-0039

Lilly’s $200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas.

To apply online:http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php

If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Lilly will be this weekend, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you.
