Lilly Beagle Mix Danbury, CT

This pretty girl is Lilly, a 31 lb 3-year-old beagle mix in need of a committed adopter willing to come to DAWS several times to get to know her before she goes home. Lilly is often reactive to new people and animals and will bark on first meeting. When meeting Lilly, it is best to be quiet and just walk with her. Eventually she will get curious and sniff you. She does well on hikes and loves toys. She will entertain herself with her toys. She has no signs of resource guarding. She likes to play in the yard with other dogs and we think she would do well as a second dog with a nice, confident dog. Lilly is very smart and in tune with her person. We think she could be a terrific student at agility training. Lilly needs an experienced dog owner who will give consistency to her routine so she can enjoy home life. We recommend an adult-only home for Lilly and no apartment/condo living.
