Lilley's Story

As Lilly has come out of her shell, we have discovered that she is a joyful, medium-high energy queen with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She absolutely adores other dogs and cats, and she would be thrilled to have furry siblings in her forever home. She has adjusted beautifully to living with our resident cat and even offers her gentle, affectionate grooming nibbles that the cat happily accepts.

Lilly is a fun, active girl who loves to stretch her legs with off-leash time in a yard or dog park for a couple of hours each day. She thrives when she gets to run, explore, and make friends. She currently attends a play group every afternoon and has become quite the social butterfly. Her future parents would be warmly welcomed to bring her back to say hello to all her buddies.

She is a smart, eager-to-please pup who is learning her manners with enthusiasm. She walks well on leash most of the time and is continuing to improve with distractions like chipmunks and other dogs. With her intelligence and desire to bond, she is showing excellent potential to become a reliable off-leash dog with a little continued guidance. She is also fully house-trained and has never had an accident indoors.

Lilly is a sweetheart who loves cuddling, playing keep-away with balls, and wagging her tail nonstop. When she gets extra excited, she makes adorable little chomping sounds--her own happy Morse code for "I am so excited to see you!" and "Please give me attention!"

She handled car rides gently, though she can get a bit car sick sometimes, so shorter rides and patience will help her feel her best.

Over Thanksgiving, Lilly spent time with a 10-week-old puppy and children ages 2, 4, and 9, and she did wonderfully. She brought so much joy and silliness to the holiday.

If you are looking for a social, affectionate, and delightfully quirky companion, Lilly is ready to brighten your life every single day. Everyone who meets her falls in love instantly.

She is in a foster home, if you are interested in meeting her please submit an application on our website.
