Lila's Story
Lila - 3.5 year old GSD, 80lbs, but very thin and lanky! She is a very loyal, and loving dog. Loves to play fetch, and she herds balls like a pro soccer player. She is very much attached to her human, could easily be a 1 person dog. Very active, pretty good on a leash. Very focused and attentive like you would expect a GSD to be.

She is friendly with cats (currently lives with 2 and has her whole life). With friendlier cats she does the cat head in mouth game occasionally (as play, she’s not actually trying to eat the cat). Sometimes likes to bother/chase shyer cats but in a curious way and when the cat corrects her she will back off.

She could potentially live with another dog (preferably a larger male) with the right training and support, but probably
would be best an only
Dog. She can be a bully and will resource guard toys.

She would probably do best in a home with older kids or no kids.

Contact Christine at christine@therescueexpress.org for more information about Lila.
