Lil Survivor's Story
Lil Survivor was brought to us in terrible condition. He was covered in mange that was so severe, he had open sores covering his body and an infection in his face. The images from his intake are too graphic to include on his page, but I’ve added a picture of a day or 2 after arrival. However, in just over a month, he started to grow his hair back, and now after less than 2 months, it has almost come back completely! Survivor is just that, a survivor and a fighter! How he got that bad, and how he lived long enough to get to us, we may never know, but we are so thankful he did and he is now so sweet!
Survivor gets along with just about everyone, given the opportunity to meet them! He LOVES other dogs and wants to play with everyone! We think he would do great in just about any home!

Lil Survivor is guessed to be a pit bull mixed with maybe a boxer! He was born in approximately July 2025, so he’s not even a year old yet!

Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
