Licorice 01-0102

Licorice is one of the gentlest girls we have at RAR. She came to us with her little sister Cocoa as a pair from Fayette County. When she came in she was emaciated and sick with an upper respiratory infection unable to stand or walk very well. Now that she has been with us at RAR she is doing so much better! Licorice has been able to come out of her shell and blossom into the sweetest little lady. She loves to go on long walks and hikes but definitely is not a fan of the water. She will come and give you great big hugs and just wants to be held all day long. Licorice knows basic commands such as sit and stay especially if you have a treat with you. She will also let you dress her up in whatever your heart desires from a cute little T-Shirt to a nice puffy jacket. Licorice has very good manners but is still shy in a home environment and will need someone who will be able to help her bring up her confidence to become the bestest girl she can be. She loves to be with her people and will do anything she can to stay with you always. Having said this, our sweet girl is an escape artist and would like to live somewhere where she will be free most of the time and hang out with her family. Licorice is just looking for her forever family to hold her close and love her always.
