LIBBY's Story

LIBBY, 3 1/2 months old at intake, is a mixed breed puppy abandoned on the shelter property after hours on 6/8/22. Now 3 years old, she's definitely confident,. Inside the shelter, this cute girl is a bossy, sassy pants! Once she's comfortable with you, Libby's happy to walk with you and let everyone else know what her business is. But once we hit the outdoors and began walking, she dropped the attitude. She is picky about people and may need to warm up to you, but once she does, she loves you! Libby can be an impressive walker. In the play yard, she enjoyed sniffing around, investigating toys and was amusing when she couldn't figure out how to get a drink out of the pool. While she's a sharp girl, Libby never figured out that she could actually get in the pool. She's a fantastic youngster who's at her best when she's engaged either with her people (walking on lead or playing), playing on her own with toys or simply exploring using her nose. Libby's happy, exuberant, receptive, likes order and most of all benefits from being engaged. She's a super sweet, smart girl who'll reward you with lots of kisses and so much more. She's played well with other shelter dogs. Libby's adoption fee is $150 and helps cover the cost of her spay, vaccinations, worming, monthly flea preventive, microchip and care while at CCHS. Adopted in 2022, she was returned because the family had their 6th kid.
