I really enjoy being close to my humans and will happily accept chin rubs or forehead strokes whenever they're offered. I've been living here at this wonderful foster home by the beach for the past month, and I've really been thriving with my brother, Indy, by my side. Surfers for Strays, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is very in-depth. It includes the following steps: FILL OUT AN APPLICATION: Our Adoption Application has four parts: Personal Information Family Home Training PRELIMINARY APPLICATION REVIEW: Screened for basic criteria of eligibility FINAL APPLICATION REVIEW: The Final Application Review includes: A Virtual Home Check during COVID times (Photos or video emailed to us) or a regular Home Check during non-COVID times Phone Interview ADOPTION AGREEMENT: Once the application has been approved, it is followed by a meet and greet to ensure an appropriate match has been made with the pet and family. Then the Adoption Agreement is signed and returned. This is a contract that transfers ownership from the rescue organization to the Adopter. ADOPTION DONATION made to Surfers for Strays.
