Libby's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Libby!

Libby is a sweet girl who just needs a little bit of time and patience to show her true, wonderful self. She came to Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue in a lot of pain with one of her paws degloved. After receiving treatment from our vet, she is now fully recovered! We aren’t sure how her injury happened, but it helps explain her initial shyness and fear around new people.

Libby loves to play fetch (she brings it back and even drops it!) and enjoys playing with other dogs. She rides well in the car, happily soaking up the breeze, and is house trained and walks beautifully on leash.

Libby will need a home that can provide structure, boundaries, and ongoing safe socialization, as she has a tendency to guard the people she loves. Her ideal home would be a quiet, adult household with a big backyard, in a low-traffic area. She would also thrive with another confident canine companion to show her the ropes.

If you think you can give Libby the loving, supportive home she deserves, please email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out an online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org.

Libby is located in Southern California.
