Lia's Story

Lia and her siblings were found on the street in Puerto Rico. They were 8-10 weeks old at that time. Thanks to a flight angel Lia and her brother arrived in Colorado in search of better future.

Lia is a very sweet puppy. At first she is a bit shy of people, but warms up once she trusts you. She loves to wrestle and chase with other dogs. Also loves big or older dogs and is very sweet, respectful and submissive with them. Lia also likes some quite time sometimes with pets and belly rubs :)

She sleeps in the crate with her brother, walks well on the leash, is good on a car rides and is learning good potty habits.

We do not know what breed mix Lia is. Usually, satos (homeless dogs from Puerto Rico) are a mix of many breeds, some chihuahua, some pit and you name it! By they are always loving and grateful. We do not know how big he will be when full grown but we anticipate he will remain medium size, probably ~30-40lb.

Lia is up to date on his vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting this pup, please fill out the application here:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BSCO/Dog
----------------------------------------------

We ask for a $400 donation as the adoption fee, to help cover the costs of medical services and transport. We are however willing to accept a lesser amount to finalize the adoption with appropriate applicant.
