Lexus's Story

How this pet arrived: Lexus was brought in by a Field Service Officer on March 7, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Lexus! Lexus is a gentle, soft-hearted girl who is just starting to show her personality. She's curious and sweet, but likes to take her time to feel comfortable. Lexus would do best in a home that's on the calmer side so she can settle in and keep blossoming. She's looking for a household that enjoys a relaxed vibe and will give her the time she needs to feel comfortable and show off her sweet side. Lexus is required to go into a home that has a confident, friendly resident dog who can help her feel at ease and be her teammate and asks to meet the resident dog at our campus to be sure they'll be pawsome roommates. If there are kids in the home, Lexus would do best with children 10 and older who can understand her space and cheer her on as she grows more confident. She's currently working on her leash skills like a champ, so a home with a yard for easy potty breaks would be perfect while she keeps practicing her walking adventures. Lexus is the kind of pup who quietly works her way into your daily routine. Give her a little patience and encouragement and you'll get to watch her confidence grow more and more each day.<br/>Shy/Fearful Dog: Lexus requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.At SDHS:Lexus has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home! Primary Color: Rust Red Secondary Color: White Weight: 33.6lbs Age: 1yrs 6mths 1wks Animal has been Spayed
