Lexie

<p>Lexie was found in the middle of an empty field, hiding in a storm drain.&nbsp; It was a young group of boys who called us for help.</p> <p>It seems that she had been on her own for several weeks.&nbsp; The boys waited till we could get there and save her.&nbsp; 10&#39; feet back into an underground drain she was.&nbsp; We sure didnt expect to find a little dog in the drain.</p> <p>It took a little coaxing, but I believe she knew we were there to help&nbsp;her.&nbsp; Although it was 90degreees that day, little Lexie was freezing cold.</p> <p>She went right into foster care that night, after a bath.... and she has been with her fantastic family since then.&nbsp; It took several days and lots of love and patience for her to learn to trust.&nbsp; I think she saw the other doggies at her new home and realized they had it pretty good.&nbsp;</p> <p>Lexie listens very well is very sweet and loving, however, she is a little leary of strangers and I imagine that is because of what had happened to her in that field.</p> <p>Lexie is a sassy little girl who will need to meet you a few times and that can be arranged.... she has grown quite attached (and spoiled) to her foster family.</p> <p>She is about 1 year old and 12lbs.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
